Max Cardoso Langer


BSc in Ecology (1994) from Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), Rio Claro; MSc in Geosciences (1996) from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Porto Alegre; PhD (2001) from the University of Bristol, Bristol-UK; Habilitation (Livre Docência) in Geology and Palaeontology (2011) from Universidade de São Paulo (USP), Ribeirão Preto. President of Sociedade Brasileira de Paleontologia, voting member of the Subcommission on Triassic Stratigraphy, part of the 'advisory board' of Revista Brasileira de Paleontologia, Journal of Paleontology, and Ameghiniana (journal of the Asociación Paleontológica Argentina). His research interest is focused on the phylogeny and stratigraphic correlation of Mesozoic 'reptiles', especially dinosaurs, rhynchosaurs, crocodyles, and turtles. Since 2001 he is a staff member (Geology and Palaeontology lecturer) of the Biology Department, Universidade de São Paulo (USP), Ribeirão Preto-SP.

Annie Schmaltz Hsiou


BSc in Biology (2002) from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUC/RS), Porto Alegre-RS; MSc (2006) and PhD (2010) in Geosciences from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Porto Alegre-RS. Currently, she is 1st treasurer of the Sociedade Brasileira de Paleontologia. Her research interest is focused on Palaeoherpetology, especially on the systematics and comparative anatomy of cenozoic Squamata (lizards and snakes) from South America. Since 2011 she is a staff member (Geology and Palaeontology lecturer) of the Biology Department, Universidade de São Paulo (USP), Ribeirão Preto-SP.

Simone D'Orazi Porchetti


BSc (2003) in Natural Sciences and PhD (2007) in Earth Sciences from Univeristà degli Studi di Roma La Sapienza, Rome (Italy). FAPESP postdoc at the PaleoLab since 2013, his research interest is focused on Mesozoic vertebrate fossil tracks, specially track-fossil analysis methods, ichnotaxonomy, biostratigraphic applications for fossil tracks, and vertebrate ichnofacies.

Mariela Cordeiro de Castro


BSc (2005) in Biology and MSc (2009) in Comparative Biology from Universidade de São Paulo (USP), Ribeirão Preto-SP. PhD (2014) in Paleontology from Universidad Nacional de La Plata, La Plata (Argentina). FAPESP postdoc at the PaleoLab since 2015, her research interest is focused on fossil mammal, especially the anatomy and systematics of cingulate xenarthrans (armadillos).

Bruno Cavalcanti Vila Nova


BSc (2007) in Biology and MSc (2010) in Earth Sciences from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE), Recife-PE. PhD (2014) in in Comparative Biology from Universidade de São Paulo (USP), Ribeirão Preto-SP. PNPD/CAPES postdoc at the PaleoLab since 2015, his research interest is focused on flying-reptiles (pterosaurs), especially from the Cretaceous of Brazil.

Fábio Augusto Carbonaro


BSc (2009) in Biology from Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), Bauru-SP, and MSc (2013) in Regional Geology from Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), Rio Claro-SP. PhD candidate funded by FAPESP, his research interest is focused on invertebrate paleobiogeograhy from the Devonian of the Paraná Basin.

Júlio César de Almeida Marsola

Marcos César Bissaro Júnior

Gabriel de Souza Ferreira
